SomaIQ Privacy Policy
SomaIQ helps Oura users translate readiness, sleep, recovery, and activity signals into practical daily training and recovery guidance.

Information We Collect
SomaIQ may collect information you submit directly, including your name, email, location, training goals, preferences, feedback, account details, and information you choose to share through the service.
If you connect a supported wearable, SomaIQ may access data permitted by the scopes you authorize through that provider. Depending on the wearable and permissions selected, this may include sleep, recovery, readiness, activity, workouts, heart rate, heart rate variability, respiratory rate, blood oxygen, stress, strain, and related health or performance signals.
How We Use Data
- To generate personalized guidance about training, recovery, sleep, activity, and body signals.
- To operate, maintain, support, and improve the SomaIQ service.
- To improve recommendation quality and safety guardrails.
- To review feedback, troubleshoot issues, prevent misuse, and protect the reliability and security of the service.
Connected Wearables and OAuth
SomaIQ connects to supported wearable providers through their authorized integration and OAuth processes. Current or future supported providers may include Oura, WHOOP, and other wearable platforms. SomaIQ receives only the data and permissions authorized by the user and supported by the connected provider.
Users can revoke a wearable connection through the applicable provider or contact SomaIQ for assistance disconnecting an account.
Data Storage and Retention
Account, operational, wearable, report, and audit data may be stored in the SomaIQ production environment for the purposes described in this policy. SomaIQ retains information only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, meet legitimate operational requirements, resolve disputes, and comply with applicable obligations.
Data Sharing
SomaIQ does not sell personal or wearable data. Information may be processed by service providers that support essential functions such as hosting, database infrastructure, analytics, communications, payment processing, security, and AI-assisted report generation. These providers receive information only as needed to perform services for SomaIQ.
Your Choices, Disconnection, and Data Deletion
You may revoke access to a connected wearable through the wearable provider. You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your SomaIQ account and associated data by contacting hello@somaiq.app.
After a verified deletion request, SomaIQ will delete or de-identify eligible data from active systems, subject to information that must be retained for security, fraud prevention, legal, financial, or legitimate operational purposes.
Security
SomaIQ uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal and wearable data. Secrets and access credentials are kept out of public interfaces, and access to production systems is limited according to operational need. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Health and Fitness Information
Wearable data and SomaIQ guidance are used for informational fitness, recovery, and wellness purposes. SomaIQ is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment.
Children
SomaIQ is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
Changes
This policy may be updated as SomaIQ, its supported wearable integrations, and applicable requirements evolve. The effective date shown above will be revised when material changes are published.
